Digital Marketing Specialist

ScribbleLive is looking for a data-driven marketer to build and scale our marketing programs. This is a key role for the company as we embark on our next phase of growth. Reporting to our new Vice-President Americas, Sales & Demand Generation this job is the perfect combination of strategy and hands-on execution for scale.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Drive new business. You will build the digital marketing strategy and execute programs to drive brand awareness and generate new leads. You will generate top of the funnel (TOFU) leads through a combination of paid campaigns (SEM, display, retargeting, social) and new experimental channels (syndication, paid webinars etc).
  • Build and manage new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
  • Be our marketing operations expert - being our point person with our marketing stack tools such as Marketo and SalesForce.com reports,
  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
  • Live and breathe data. Measure and benchmark key marketing metrics including CAC, CAC/ACV ratio, website to lead conversion rate, lead-to-SQL ratio. Track, analyze and improve ROI. Build KPI dashboards and communicate with executive staff on an ongoing basis.

What is needed to be successful:

  • Strategic mindset. You understand our customers, our space and B2B marketing and you are able to build the online marketing strategy to enable our next phase of growth.
  • Hands-on, get-it-done attitude. We are a start-up and we are looking for someone who is not afraid to roll-up their sleeves and get things done. You will build new integrated campaigns and scale existing programs.
  • Analytical thinking. You believe in data and relentlessly focus on ROI. You are able to analyze complex sets of data and make decisions for future growth.
  • Understanding of modern marketing. You have deep B2B marketing knowledge and understand today’s modern marketing tech stack (Marketo, Salesforce,  Adwords, Adroll, Optimizely, Google Analytics etc.). And you have a proven track record of acquiring customers and expanding brand presence through innovative strategies and execution.
  • At least 1-2 years of hands-on digital marketing experience.
