Demand Generation Manager

We are looking for a data-driven Demand Generation Manager to build and manage the operational side of our marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for someone with  experience looking to grow their career in marketing operations and demand generation.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Monitor and maintain Marketing Automation (Marketo), reporting, and data analytics, supporting the objectives of Marketing and Sales departments.
  • Work with the demand gen team to help them operationalize and report on marketing campaigns between Marketo and Salesforce
  • Work with content team to help provide insights into content performance
  • Work with sales operations to improve lead flow practices in salesforce
  • Report on standard Marketing metrics relating to Marketing costs, revenue and acquisition by campaign
  • Drive email marketing strategy and execution of campaigns and help build out email automation
  • Live and breathe data and workflows. Build and maintain lead routing, scoring, attribution and assignment rules. Build reports and dashboards to measure funnel and campaign performance.

What is needed to be successful:

  • Solid knowledge of modern demand generation and B2B content marketing
  • Must have B2B demand generation experience (not B2C which is completely different) – know CRM, marketing automation and email marketing
  • Must know PPC and SEO
  • Must know how demand is generated in 2017 – not 1995
  • Must have experience working with either or both BDR’s and Field sales people
  • Must have a quota and be used to working with one
  • Must be more analytical than creative – creative can be outsourced – understanding what drives demand cannot
  • Must understand “funnel economics” –  how to define the stages of the funnel and track conversion rates at each stage
  • Then be able to optimize and uncover the “bottlenecks” at each stage
  • Must be a modern B2B demand generation expert – at home in salesforce, marketo, creating email campaigns and webinars – using Linkedin – helping with market segmentation to allocate target accounts etc etc.
  • Hands-on, get-it-done attitude: We are a start-up and we are looking for someone who is not afraid to roll-up their sleeves and get things done.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment.
