Sales Engineer

ScribbleLive is seeking a Sales Engineer to work with our sales team through the next stage of growth. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales this outward-facing individual must be a team player that enjoys being a part of fast paced team of over-achieving sales executives, as well as working with clients to ensure they know how to use the ScribbleLive platform.

  • Understand the customer needs and establish company's product as the best solution that addresses that need.
  • Act as a strategic resource and partner to the Account Executives.
  • Build and present customized product demonstrations and mock ups.
  • Build expertise around multiple vertical applications and industry trends.
  • Provide technical mentoring, training, and support to prospective clients in evaluation and testing phases.
  • Answer integration and technical questions from potential and existing clients.
  • Organize sales collateral, examples and resources to ensure the right content is available for sales support needs.
  • Identify content engagement stories/examples for sales to leverage.
  • Let sales and management know about presentation best practices and how reps can improve their pitch.
  • Prepare and run product introduction sessions for new ScribbleLive employees.
  • Create documentation to explain platform, tools and use-cases.
  • Provide expertise on the ScribbleLive platform highlighting key features and functionality that will result in optimal execution of clients' content creation.
  • Drive usage and adoption of the ScribbleLive platform and Scribble Market through on-going usage reviews and communication of best practices.


  • Superior communications skills, including verbal, writing, and presentation.
  • Ability to multitask and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to creatively solve problems.
  • Excellent communicator; solid web writing style (including writing for SEO).
  • Experience in training delivery and training content preparation.
  • Knowledge of CSS/Javascript/HTML (beginner to intermediate).
  • Bachelor’s degree.  Preferably in marketing, communications, business, management, technology.

Nice-to-have Qualifications:

  • Experience with solution selling.
  • Previous experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant in an enterprise software company or SaaS.
  • Proven track record working to close enterprise deals in a sales team environment.
  • Content marketing experience or knowledge.
  • Did we mention knowledge of CSS, Javascript and HTML?
