Head of Product Marketing

We are looking for a Product Marketing leader who will play a key role in building and launching successful products.  Reporting to our VP Marketing, this position is a perfect combination of strategy and hands-on execution.  This individual will help bridge and align product, marketing and sales teams and guide successful go to market execution.

Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of the customer. Understand customer needs and pain points and work with the rest of ScribbleLive to reflect that into everything that we do
  • Work with product managers to help shape the future of our product
  • Develop positioning, messaging and value propositions of ScribbleLive’s products and services.
  • Be the owner of the go to market strategy, enable successful product launches and campaigns by working across teams including Product Management, Marketing, PR, Customer Success and Sales
  • Own reporting and analysis of product marketing metrics; drive for results and keep everyone honest with use of data
  • Competitive intelligence: Master our competitive universe, inform our roadmap as appropriate, and provide other teams with messaging and content to stay ahead
  • Sales enablement: Ensure that the sales team can convey our value proposition and provide them with the resources and tools to support their activities
  • Collaborate with the Content Marketing team to create thought leadership content for our products and target verticals
  • Be the product spokesperson. Demo our product at events; showcase the best of ScribbleLive to press and analysts
  • Analyst Relations: Partner with key industry analysts to shape the market’s perception of ScribbleLive. Establish a regular and repeatable cadence of inquiries and briefings with a diverse set of analysts and influencers.

Requirements

  • 6+ years marketing experience with at least 3 years of product marketing experience
  • Launched high-tech, B2B, software or SaaS/Cloud products before and ready to share and implement best practices on day one
  • You have a strong interest in becoming a product expert and bringing the voice of the customer to product development, launches and campaigns
  • Proven track record developing core messaging, positioning, and value proposition materials
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Data-driven instincts with the ability to analyze data for decision-making
  • Creative
  • Entrepreneurial
